...pEriodic tEst..new lesson... '

i am so nervous of what will be the result of my periodic test. i am scared to fail but God is so great. i got 43, i passed!!! what an achievement for me. i know that to others it is good but i think to mr. mendoza it is not. (hehe..tAma b sir...?=])

we have tackled already our new lesson. it is all about current, resistance, resistivty. waah...

first quiz, 3. wHAt!!!.. so sad but it was all my fault. i used the wrong exponent for milli. kainis.... but i always take it as a lesson. now i am more careful on every step i made.

w00h.... '

many things happened this month. the periodic test, long test, quizzes and science camp.

the long test are difficult and i thank God i passed it. i am so stupid because i should have got the correct answer on the first problem solving but i forgot to square root the answer that's why i am so sad. it is an0the less0n that i would stuck on my mind.

the periodic test, i would say it's easier than the long test but still i'm nerv0us of the score i would get. i hope that i will pass the test. i am sure that i have one point already because there's one number which is a bonus item..(yahoo...)

quizzes....ahhmmm/...it's quite alright but i think the cummulative score i got was not that high. i need to strive more...waahhh...

the science camp...i can't imagine up to now we won the second place...haha...i found it quite boring...but it was fun...wahaha...i couldn't help but sleep for about 20 minutes. i am so sleepy...

RAY DIAGRAMS FOR CONVERGING LENSES

1. ray 1 is drawn parallel to the principal axis. After being refracted by the lens, this ray passes through one of the foval point.

2. ray 2 is drawn through the center of the lens. This continues in a straight line.

3. ray 3 is drawn through the other focal point and emerges from the lens parallel to the principal axis.

The intersection of these rays at a point locates the image.

Ray Diagrams are used so that we can determine conveniently the positions and sizes of images formed by mirrors. To make a ray diagram we should know the position of the object and the location of the center of curvature. To locate the image, three rays are constructed and these rays start from the same object point.


RAY DIAGRAMS FOR CONCAVE MIRRORS


1. ray 1 is drawn parallel to the principal axis and is reflected back through the focal point(F).


2. ray 2 is drawn through the focal point. thus, it is reflected parallel to the principal axis.


3. ray 3 is drawn through the center of curvature(C) and is reflected back on itself.

The intersection of these rays at a point locates the image.







RAY DIAGRAMS FOR CONVEX MIRRORS




1. ray 1 is drawn parallel to the principal axis but light but light will not pass through the mirror and so it is reflected and broken lines are drawn passing through the other focal point.




2.ray 2 is drawn through the focal point but again light will not pass through thus reflected parallel to the principal axis extending a broken line to the other side.




3. ray 3 is drawn passing through the other center of curvature.

The intersection of these rays at a point locates the image.
